In February 2024, BEC donated funds in support of the Better Community Club (BCC) at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG). The organization was formed in 2006 by students with the goal to support social causes. Social entrepreneurship and raising awareness are the focus of BCC’s two major events: “Innovation Stations” (a competition presenting social impact projects, happening in February) and “The Breast Cancer Awareness Marathon” (a fundraising event happening in October). BEC’s donation was used to cover costs for accommodation, food and other necessities during the “Innovation Stations” event on February 23rd-25th, 2024.
