The Bulgarian Entrepreneurship Center Foundation has donated funds to support the “Devet Osmi BG” dance ensemble at the Aprilov–Palauzov–1861 Community Cultural Center in Gabrovo. The ensemble’s director, Ivan Lyubomirov, gratefully accepted the donation and undertook to use the funds to have new traditional Bulgarian folk costumes made for the children’s dance group.
The financial support comes at an opportune time, as the group is preparing for a tour abroad, as well as for its own concert on November 13 at the House of Culture in Gabrovo. The performance will also feature the children’s folk choir “Gabrovski Glascheta” (Little Voices of Gabrovo).
Larry Biehl, founder of the Bulgarian Entrepreneurship Center Foundation, met with Mr. Lyubomirov and attended a rehearsal of the young dancers. He also joined in the dancing alongside other representatives of the foundation.
