The international festival for singer-songwriters Sofia Singer Songwriter Fest is preparing for its seventh edition. The dates are October the 7th and 8th, 2023. The concert starts at 6 pm.
The venue is once again Club 1857 (22 San Stefano St., opposite Bulgarian National Television – BNT), where talented artists from Bulgaria and abroad will perform in
a cosy atmosphere. Each of them will perform 15 minutes of their own original
songs.
Twelve artists will take part in 2 competition nights – semi-final and final, and a three- person jury including Plamen Sivov (Tochka BG band), Vasko Gromkov (BNT) and a special guest from abroad will evaluate the performances based on the following criteria: music, lyrics, vocal skills, instrumental skills and stage behaviour. Some of the winners from previous editions of the festival will also give recitals. There will be, as usual, an abundant preliminary programme in the week
preceding October the 7th, presenting even more artists.
For the grand finale, a group performance of Queen's timeless song We Are The
Champions is planned.
