The Bulgarian Entrepreneurship Center donates 6,000 BGN to the National High School of Applied Arts – “Trevnenska Shkola” in Tryavna, Bulgaria

The Bulgarian Entrepreneurship Center (BEC) – a public benefit foundation with projects in the fields of entrepreneurship, education, medicine and culture – made a donation of BGN 6,000 to the National High School of Applied Arts – “Trevnenska Shkola” in Tryavna, Bulgaria.

The funds will be used to buy technical supplies (an interactive board) for classrooms in preparation for the new school year this fall.

In May and June 2024, BEC Director Lilly Drumeva- O’Reilly visited Tryavna, at the invitation of the city’s management, and thus the partnership with the Tryavna School was initiated.

The beneficial relationship will continue in the future, as BEC plans visits from American investors and philanthropists to view and possibly support the work done by members of the community to make this beautiful city more resilient and responsive to the needs of its citizens.

The headmaster of the school, Mr. Orpheus Mindov, thanked BEC for the support, and shared that in addition to technical equipment, the school needs funds to organize exhibitions and trips – throughout the country and abroad – in order to attract more talented students to the institution.

The school’s mission was also discussed in the program “New Horizons with Lilly” on Darik Radio (https://darik.bg/v-novi-horizonti-s-lili-gostuvaha-orfei-i-lari-biil) with author, host and BEC Director Mrs. Lilly Drumeva-O’Reilly.
