For the finale, all participants took the stage to perform the eternal song of the band Queen “We Are The Champions” in remembrance of Freddie Mercury.
A special guest of the event was the financier from California – Larry Biehl, who has supported the festival since its first year.
As usual, the international competition was preceded by a varied accompanying programme, which this year lasted three days. Abot twenty Bulgarian and foreign singer songwriters had the opportunity to present their work in a cozy club atmosphere, to get to meet each other and the audience, to exchange creative experience and ideas.
It is now time to look forward to the eighth edition of the Sofia Singer Songwriter Fest in October 2024.
